Condor

Sustainable action and corporate identification:

Condor and skysupply bet on a clever Travel Organizer concept.

In 2022, Condor unveiled its new look: stripes in five different colors. The new design evokes a summery lightness, to freedom and happiness that the airline’s guests experience on their holidays in destinations all around the world. Together with the airline’s branded fleet, skysupply developed a colorful amenity kit concept with four different bags and a separate content package that focuses on sustainability, practicality, and the carrier’s recognition value.

Condor’s new design is based on five colors: Sunshine (yellow), Passion (red), Sea (blue), Island (green), and Beach (beige) – a tribute to the leisure and international airline’s mission to connect people and build bridges between cultures and regions of the world. The aspects of diversity and the understanding of different needs were also incorporated into the creation of the airline’s amenity kits. Skysupply designed four different items under the Travel Organizer concept: a green striped gadget bag with a zipper for various items such as glasses, cables, cosmetics, and stationary, a blue striped cooler bag with a flap and a handle and an insulation to keep drinks cool; a blue striped beach bag with clip closures to store and protect all valuables – and even wet clothes – from sand and water on the beach, and a green striped metal pharmacy box to keep pills and other medications safe, rain or shine. All bags come with a sleeve. The sleeve provides an overview of all the available amenity kit versions.

In addition to its thoughtful design, which is in line with Condor's corporate identity, and its functionality, the main goal during the development process of the Travel Organizer concept was to contribute to sustainability. This was achieved in two ways: The reusability of the bags makes the amenity kits durable. They are practical not only during the flight and the (beach) vacation, but also afterwards at home. Also, the amenity items are handed out separately from the bags. Condor is making a clear statement that less is more and that going green is a proactive choice that passengers can make on board. Offering the content box separately reduces waste.

The content items for the Travel Organizer, offered in a striped, 100% recyclable carton, are: an eye mask made of recycled polyester/cotton blend fabric, socks made of recycled polyester and a bamboo toothbrush. The content package also includes a Rituals lip balm and a Rituals moisturizer. Passengers can choose whether or not to take the content box on board. If they do, they are encouraged to use the contents not only during the flight and at the destination, but also afterwards.
